Exciting news! Motiv has been accepted into the University of Cincinnati's Venture Lab NEXT accelerator program. The 12 week program helps select student ventures find product-market fit through curated mentorship, peer-to-peer learning, and inspiring guest speakers. Plus, each team will receive $10K in non-dilutive funding to further their projects.

Motiv is excited to work alongside student ventures, Phizzio (a software solution that caters to physical therapy centers to enhance treatment accessibility and adherence for their patients), Junietta (Making music creation accessible through a novel portable music synthesizer), bēginn (Digital health platform to support women in improving their health for fertility and optimally healthy pregnancies through functional lab work, personalized lifestyle and nutritional recommendations and group support in healthy lifestyle changes), and X-inator (a novel 5x, thermally stable energy source.)

As part of the program, Motiv is provided a valuable one-on-one mentor. The team's mentor is UC College of Engineering and Applied Science alumnus Jason Harbert. He is a Y Combinator alum and a co-founder and CTO of e-commerce fulfillment management solution, Flowspace. Flowspace is disrupting the logistics industry and pioneering a new era of independent fulfillment solutions. Through a network of third-party providers, the company is streamlining operations, lowering costs and exceeding consumer expectations within the marketplace. Fueled by his first job packing boxes and the experience he gained at CEAS, Harbert was inspired to create a technology that simplified logistical tasks. The company has seen great success, and recently became the first U.S. partner powering fulfillment for TikTok Shop!
