In the dynamic world of startups, every achievement is a milestone, and every opportunity seized is a step closer to success. For Motiv, a new, innovative sports team communication software startup, April 2024 marks a month of triumph as they have now been accepted into three pitch competitions! From their hometown of Cincinnati, to Minneapolis and Winnipeg, Canada, Motiv is set to showcase its innovative edge on a local, national, and international stage simultaneously.

With a focus on leveraging technology to enhance sports communication, Motiv has captured the attention of judges and fellow entrepreneurs alike. Their cutting-edge software promises to revolutionize the way teams coordinate, communicate, and excel. From coaches strategizing in real-time to players staying connected on and off the field, Motiv aims to empower every aspect of sports management.

University of Cincinnati's New Venture Championship

Kicking off the month of April is the University of Cincinnati's New Venture Championship on April 4, a hallmark event in the University of Cincinnati Center for Entrepreneurship's entrepreneurial calendar. Set against the backdrop of 1819 Innovation Hub, this competition attracts UC students from all colleges and levels to pitch their business or product idea to an esteemed panel of guest judges. This year's judges included chairman, CEO, and entrepreneur, Charles Hall; original Shark on ABC's "Shark Tank", Kevin Harrington; seasoned technology executive, Tony Zingale; and founder, CEO, and chairman, Rob Richardson. Motiv's ability to pitch to this esteemed panel of world-renowned judges underscores their potential to disrupt the sports tech landscape and leave an indelible mark on the industry.

e-Fest | University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Part of Motiv's double-header pitch weekend (April 18 - 20, 2024) is e-Fest, hosted by the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Renowned for its celebration of entrepreneurship and innovation, e-Fest provides an invaluable platform for budding startups to shine. Motiv's inclusion in this lineup speaks volumes about the caliber of their vision and the promise of their product. Two of Motiv's team members, Jacob Wernke and Kaleb Bishop will be traveling to Minneapolis, and will be competing in the Pitch Slam! elevator pitch competition, an Innovation Challenge, and the final pitch competition, showcasing Motiv on a national scale for the first time.

Stu Clark New Venture Championships | University of Manitoba,

Winnipeg, Canada

Simultaneously, Motiv will also be competing at the Stu Clark New Venture Championships, hosted by the University of Manitoba at the historic Fort Garry Hotel in the heart of Winnipeg, Canada. As one of the premier competitions in North America, Stu Clark attracts top talent from across the continent. Motiv's selection is a testament to their transnational appeal and the universal need for streamlined sports communication solutions.

In Canada, Motiv will release its elevator pitch video, present its business plan in the Schulze Entrepreneurship Challenge, and introduce its vision for the future of sports technology. Team members, Jaden Walton and Hamza Khairy will be traveling to Winnipeg at the same time the other team members will be traveling to Minneapolis, ultimately using each team member's strengths to secure wins for Motiv.

However, Motiv's acceptance into three prestigious events in the span of a month is nothing short of remarkable. As they prepare to showcase their innovation and vision to audiences across North America, Motiv stands poised to make waves in the world of sports communication.
