This past November, two of Motiv's team members, Jaden and Kaleb, traveled to San Francisco's Silicon Valley to engage with the University of Cincinnati's alumni and network with the area's leading tech giants.

In their recent trip to Silicon Valley, the pair fully immersed themselves in the vibrant tech and startup culture. Each morning started with an energizing run, including a memorable one to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Their itinerary was packed with visits to notable tech landmarks and hubs of innovation. They had the opportunity to explore Sequoia Capital, a cornerstone in the venture capital world, which was an enlightening experience and a step toward Motiv's next investment goals.
Another highlight was their visit to Apple, including both their impressive headquarters and the legendary Apple garage, offering Jaden and Kaleb a glimpse into the humble beginnings of this tech giant. They also toured the headquarters of IDEO, gaining insights into their cutting-edge design and innovation practices. Additionally, their visit to Google's office was another exciting tour, showcasing the workings of one of the world's most influential tech companies.
Their time at Stanford University was not only educational but also serendipitous, as the pair accidentally stumbled upon a startup meetup. This led them to attend another well-organized startup meetup by Kyosuke Togami, which was an incredible networking opportunity. It was here that the team met some amazing people, some of whom are reading this newsletter now!
This trip was not just about exploring Silicon Valley but also about building connections and gaining a deeper understanding of the startup ecosystem. It was an unforgettable experience that has fueled our motivation and vision for Motiv.
